Sep Friesema = b. 2004, is a Dutch multimedia artist, filmmaker, and writer whose practice focuses on creating poetic landscapes through collage and montage, blending digital and analogue culture to discuss themes of ecology, othering, coming-of-age and death. She questions the boundaries between humans and nature, you and me, and questions whether these boundaries exist at all, using abstracted human stories.

Sep with honours completed her bachelor’s degree in Moving Image at AKI ArtEZ in 2025 , and her debut short film ‘Graveyard-Notes’ has screened at film festivals such as Go Short and Leiden Shorts and she has also presented work at Rijksmuseum Twente and the IJsselbiënnale.
